This project is a lot of fun, and is a way to teach children about relief sculptures and stained glass art. I decided to show the children Russian painter Kandinsky's colorful work to inspire this project. Once they chose whether they wanted to go round or square, the children were given a rectangular sheet of cardboard and a bottle of Elmer's glue. They squeezed the glue tracing their square or round lines on the board and then waited for the glue to dry and harden, creating a raised relief pattern. After that, tin foil was pasted on the surface, smoothed and creased in every ridge, to then finally be colored with sharpies!

The children were five and six years old in kindergarten public school.
